Asian Women Cancer Group is privileged to welcome two professors from Imperial College, who will share their research and explain how we can all support their work.

Guest Speakers

Dr Gwen A Murphy, PhD, MPH

Dr Gwen Murphy is the Deputy Head of the Cancer Screening and Prevention Research Group, in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London.

Gwen will give a presentation on upper GI cancer, oesophageal cancer, risks and her research in China and the UK.

Professor James Flanagan

Professor Flanagan is in the Division of Cancer, Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London. He is the Principal Investigator of the CRUK-funded project, Cancer Loyalty Card Study, also known as CLOCS.

CLOCS-2, the Cancer Loyalty Card Study-2, is a national research project led by Imperial College London and funded by Cancer Research UK. The aim is to understand whether everyday shopping data can help identify cancer symptoms earlier.
